The Independent Parliament Candidate for Atiwa East Constituency in the Eastern Region, Nana Adjei Kyerema has expressed grievance over the current state of water conditions in the Atiwa enclave on which human lives depend.
He hinted that the area is on the verge of buying sachet water(pure water) for virtually every household needs.
Situations persist to worsen by the day as illegal mining activities are gaining stronger ground in the Atiwa enclave now than before due to no alternative jobs for youths.
Seeming like the only option for survival is to endanger the environment and tomorrow's life.
Nana Adjei Kyerema, the Independent candidate for Atiwa East 2024 grieving over these concerns said it is time to end the monopoly style of politics in the area and alter the narrative of power favouring few and abandoning the masses, create jobs for the youth and empower them through quality education to attain better career heights.
After a campaign walk, the candidate was speaking with the media to announce his intentions to the people.
Meanwhile, some residents of the area speaking with the media share developmental projects the candidate has already supported the communities with especially on water portable supply and education.
