Jordan Ayew made his Leicester City debut in their 2-1 loss to Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday afternoon.
The 32-year-old Ghanaian forward, who recently joined Leicester from Crystal Palace on a two-year deal, was brought on as a second-half substitute.
Ayew replaced Bobby De Cordova-Reid on the left side of Leicester's attack, making an impact with a dribble and completing 83% of his passes.
Despite his efforts, Leicester couldn’t overturn the deficit, with Fulham holding on to secure the win.
Ayew’s move to Leicester came after six years at Crystal Palace, where he made 212 appearances, scoring 23 goals and providing 22 assists.
His experience in the Premier League is expected to be a valuable asset for Leicester as they navigate the obstacles of the season.
Reflecting on his move to Leicester, Ayew expressed his excitement, saying, "I’m very happy to be here and I’m proud. It happened quickly but the most significant thing for me is that I’m here and ready to start."
Ayew will be hoping to earn a starting spot in Leicester's upcoming matches, including their EFL Cup clash against Tranmere and a Premier League showdown with Aston Villa at the King Power Stadium.
