Ashanti Regional NDC Cadres Chairman Executives Defect To NPP After Wontumi Storms Their Base VIDEOS

The Ashanti Regional Caders Chairman of the opposition NDC, Alhaji Muntari Alhassan,  together with his entire executives have defected to the ruling NPP.

They have also, as a matter of principle, severed all ties with their former party, urging their teaming supporters also to do the same, for the interest of their children's future.

Not only did Alhaji Muntari and his executives turn their back on the party they have served all their lifetime till now, but their entire family have also deserted the NDC.

The announcement by the NDC's strong pillar and his executives has not only sent shivers down the spine of supporters of the opposition party but has shaken the core foundation of the party in the region.

According to the former NDC crowd puller, their decision to join the ruling party started in 2017, when the government, true to its campaign promise, indeed introduced the Free Senior High School policy and other pro-poor policies.

He said, that despite his children and family members enjoying the policy, they were not convinced until recently when it became obvious that indeed, the NPP government is for the poor.

And, to show their total commitment to the newly found party, they indicated their readiness to vigorously campaign to elect Alhaji Bawumia to persist with the good policies of the NPP government.

The unveiling of Alhaji Muntari Alhassan and the other executives took place at the Ntonso Zongo, when the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP,  Chairman Wontumi took his grassroots campaign to the Kwabre East constituency, on Friday.

Not only is the defection wreaking havoc in the camp of the NDC in the region, but the action by the former NDC stalwarts is creating division among the rank and file of the Mahama-led NDC.
