Bernard Allotey Jacobs has eulogized Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia over his manifesto for Ghanaians prior to the December elections.
The New Patriotic Party led by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as their flagbearer, on Sunday, August 18, held their 2024 Manifesto Launch at GSTS in Takoradi, Western Region.
The manifesto covered various sectors of the economy with Dr. Bawumia promising tax reforms, business incentives, credit score system and other riveting policies aimed at developing Ghana and improving the lives of the citizenry.
The manifesto which was themed “To Lead Is To Solve” has become a topical issue with Ghanaians expressing mixed feelings about whether or not it is realistic and achievable.
Contributing to Peace FM’s 'Kokrokoo' show, Allotey Jacobs, a former member of the opposition National Democratic Congress, expressed absolute confidence in Dr. Bawumia to deliver on his promises.
He strongly believed this manifesto is the engine of growth for the nation.
“That manifesto is not a political document. For the first time, we are having a technocrat, so when you look at his manifesto, it is very technical and the engine that can move the progress of this countryhellip; It’s a potent engine of growth,” he said.
He, therefore, implored the populace to “believe him (Bawumia) if we want to do well for this country”.Ameyaw Adu Gyamfi/
