The running mate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has told John Dramani Mahama not to assume victory in the upcoming elections just yet.
Affectionately known as NAPO, he believes that the former president is underestimating the current election situation.
He contends that the National Democratic Congress' flagbearer will be in for a surprise on December 7th when he loses the general election.
Speaking at the launch of the NPP manifesto in Takoradi, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh assured everyone that they would work hard to make the dream of breaking the eight-year cycle a reality.
"Those with hidden agendas who believe the election is already decided should be prepared for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to win the December 7th election," he stated.
He added, "We, the supporters of NPP, will campaign tirelessly, going from room to room, house to house, village to village, community to community. We are determined to end power outages, eliminate fuel queues, and ensure that education is not dependent on financial status. Accountability is on the horizon for those with hidden agendas. We will work relentlessly to create a better Ghana."
