Ball Master Challenge Set To Ignite Ghanas Football Scene With Exciting Competitions And Community Engagement

The football community in Ghana is brimming with anticipation as Media 53 organization Limited officially launches the Ball Master test. This highly anticipated event promises to be a standout on Ghana's sports calendar, showcasing football talent and bringing enthusiasts together in a celebration of skill and camaraderie.
The launch event, held on August 14th, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Decathlon Store in Kawukudi, marked the beginning of this exciting journey. Hosted by Gideon Eli Tettey-Doamekpor, CEO of Media 53 organization Limited, the occasion drew a diverse audience of sports enthusiasts, partners, and media representatives, all eager to witness the unveiling of this innovative competition.
“The Ball Master test is more than a sports competition; it’s a platform for athletes of all ages to showcase their skills, push their limits, and inspire others,” Tettey-Doamekpor stated. “We have crafted this event to celebrate talent, determination, and community spirit through a series of engaging obstacles.”
The Ball Master test, scheduled for September 28th, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM at East Legon Wembley Plus, will feature a diversity of football-related obstacles designed to test participants' skills across different aspects of the game. The event will include:
1.Target Striker – This test will test precision and accuracy as participants aim to hit specific targets. It's a true test of skill and focus.
2. One-on-One – Here, players will face off in intense duels, showcasing their
agility, speed, and tactical thinking. It's all about quick decisions and swift movements.
3. Freestyle – Creativity takes centre stage in this competition, where participants will perform dazzling tricks and manoeuvres with the ball. It’s a showcase of flair and innovation.
4. Ball Juggler – This test will test the participants' control and persistence as they juggle the ball for as long as possible. It's all about maintaining rhythm and balance.
5. Free Kick – Precision and power are key in this event as players attempt to score from set pieces. It's an exhilarating test of technique and composure under pressure.
Registration is open to 8years and above both male and female and can be done by dialing the shortcode *800*998# with a fee of GHC 50 per test. The total prize package for the event is worth over GHC 30,000, with first-place winners receiving GHC 3,000, second-place GHC 1,500, and third-place GHC 1,000, along with 10% discount coupons from Decathlon for all winners. Consolation prizes will also be awarded.
Distinguished judges for the competition include:
Awudu Issaka – Former Ghanaian international footballer renowned for his dribbling skills and other renowned ex-black stars footballers.
Their expertise will ensure the highest standards of judging for the competition.
The event is supported by key partners including Decathlon, which is also providing football equipment for the test.
