President of the Global Peace Mission, Prof. Samuel Ato Duncan, has pledged to sponsor this 12 months's Ghana Journalists' Association awards.
He has promised an quantity of Ghc 500,000 in direction of the occasion and underscored plans to prepare coaching applications for Journalists to construct their capability.
He complimented the efforts of the government saying, "we want to help the government in every policy they may implement for a successful governance".

Prof Ato Duncan charged Journalists to be circumspect of their reporting.
"We should also assess the way we speak against leadership especially government in power or Party in opposition, we should therefore give respect to the seat, and be careful about our speech and utterances," he said.
He additionally urged each Journalist to be an envoy for peace.
"Every Journalist must see themselves as an ambassador for peace just as the center of the global peace mission want them to be, to help maintain peace in Ghana and across the world."
President of GJA, Mr Albert Kwabena Dwumfour on his half thanked Prof Ato Duncan for the sort gesture and promised to place the cash in good use.
He was optimistic that the GJA will work to guard the lives of Journalists.
