Driving Economic Growth for the Benefit of Our Nations Easton Reid

Mr. Easton Reid, a professional Associate at the Economic Department of the U.S. Embassy's State Economic Office has reiterated the U.S. Embassy's commitment to collaborating with the Ghana-Nebraska Agribusiness Growth and Trade Relations Chamber to enhance business relations and foster economic growth between Ghana and the United.
During the official launch of the Ghana-Nebraska Agribusiness Growth and Trade Relations Chamber at the Tang Palace Hotel in Accra, on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, Mr. Reid emphasized the significant potential of the agriculture sector for sustainable development.
He highlighted the sector's importance in driving economic growth, enhancing food security, and promoting the development of both nations.
"The establishment of this Chamber underscores the strong and enduring relationship between Ghana and the United States," Mr. Reid remarked.
"The U.S. Embassy is dedicated to partnering with the Ghana-Nebraska Growth and Trade Relations Chamber.
"Together, we will build bridges, create opportunities, and drive economic growth for the benefit of our nations."
Mr. Reid further elaborated on the strategic significance of the Ghana-Nebraska Growth and Trade Relations Chamber, emphasizing its role as a catalyst for strengthening bilateral economic ties.
He stressed that the Chamber will facilitate collaboration across various sectors, including agriculture, innovation, and manufacturing, thereby opening up new avenues for trade and investment between Ghana and Nebraska.
"The Ghana-Nebraska Growth and Trade Relations Chamber will enhance collaboration between Ghana and the United States, bridging the economic gap and creating new opportunities for businesses in both regions. By promoting trade, investment, and economic cooperation, the Chamber will offer a platform for businesses to explore new markets and expand their operations," he concluded.
