Lands Minister Debunks Allegations of Sale of State Lands by Okudzeto Ablakwa

The Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources has released a statement to rebut the allegations made by the North Tongu Member of Parliament, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa over the sale of some state lands by the Commission.
In a letter, dated July 16, 2024, the Lands Ministry gives a vivid explanation and clarification on the current state of lands belonging to the state in pursuance to promoting transparency and accountability as is required of state institutions.
The ministry's statement, signed by the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor, assures the general public that the government of Ghana is committed to an effective and effective land administration that is anchored in the highest standards of integrity, transparency and candour, in the interest of the public.
Therefore, the ministry wishes to inform the general public to disregard the allegations made by the North Tongu legislator, adding that, the Akufo-Addo led government will ensure that state assets are protected.
