La Palm Royal Beach Hotel Unveils the Palms Convention Centre A New Era for Events in Accra

The La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, renowned for its luxurious seaside charm, has taken a monumental step forward with the grand opening of its state-of-the-art event venue, The Palms Convention Centre. 

Nestled in the heart of the hotel, this ultra-contemporary facility promises to set new standards for conferences and events, offering an all-inclusive, contemporary setting that redefines excellence.

In partnership with Events Resources Africa, the Palms Convention Centre emerges as the largest multipurpose conference venue in Accra and one of the most versatile in Ghana. 

The centre's flexibility allows it to be transformed to suit various events, including weddings, funerals, state functions, seminars, religious gatherings, political rallies, and award shows. Its main auditorium boasts a seating capacity of about 2,500, with provisions for extending to outdoor events, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

Addressing the audience at the launch, Mr. Anthony Ghansah, the Managing Director of La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, emphasized the strategic importance of the new facility. 

"We were losing businesses to other countries because they had bigger facilities. So we came back to the drawing board to strategize, taking into consideration the bigger spaces we have to put up this edifice, in partnership with Events Resources Africa. So the dream has become a reality; we have created something that is distinct," he said.

Highlighting the advantages of the Palms Convention Centre, Mr. Ghansah noted, "The Palms Convention Centre is one of the largest around. We have done the survey and have realized that we are the second largest. 

Adding to that, it is a multipurpose space unlike others that are mono-purpose. Again, it is connected to the hotel, so there is no need to worry about transportation nor accommodation. There is a restaurant to serve clients and organizations who would want to use the space for their retreats and conferences."

Mrs. Adwoa Baddoo, the Sales Manager of La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, shared her optimism about the future of the new venue.

"We are looking forward to increasing capacity and delivering services that meet the demands of a sophisticated generation. It can only get better. The era in which we are is not like back in the day when people would go for smaller spaces to do events. This generation wants something more sophisticated. This is the Palms for now. In five years, it can be turned into many other things," she remarked.
