'What We Need Most Is Unity' - Asiedu Nketia Urges NDC After Being Elected National Chairman | Politics

The newly elected National Chairman of the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has, in his victory speech, asked all the candidates and members of the party to unite towards a common goal in order to bring the party back into power .
Speaking at the just-ended delegates congress following his election as the new National Chairman, Mr. Asiedu Nketia alias General Mosquito noted that together with the new national executives, his "first assignment will be to work to unite the party and bring everybody who could not be endorsed today on board even as we match forward to defeat the elephant".
He charged the NDC to be strong and focused on their primary objective of wresting power from the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), come 2024.
He was optimistic to lead the party to victory.
"What we need most is unity," he urged the NDC.
