#NDC DECIDES: Congress Officially Kick-Starts.... | Politics

The 10th Delegates Congress of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially commenced.

That was at exactly 12:12pm.

The Congress which is taking place at the Accra Sports Stadium has over 9000 delegates ready and fired up to cast their vote.

The delegates include party executives at all levels – national, regional and constituency as well as executives of the party's overseas branches, Council of Elders of the party, NDC Members of Parliament (MPs), and former appointees of the NDC.

The party last week held its National Women and Youth Conference in Cape Coast where the women's and youth organizers were elected.

Meanwhile, there's a heavy presence of police officers to ensure the program runs smoothly.
