Ghanaian entrepreneur and co-founder of the Afrofuture festival, Ken Agyapong Jnr has said that he wants to be richer than his father Kennedy Agyapong, MP for Assin Central.
According to him, his parents have laid the foundation for him to expand so he can not just sit down and be comfortable.
Speaking on the Entertainment Roundtable on Saturday (6 July) Agepong said, “I think I can do it, you have to set a goal because I have the chance to not start from zero.”
“I always tell my dad, God forbid, if he dies he doesn’t have to leave me with anything he should give everything to the rest of my siblings, because I am the second oldest.”
“And I have been working with him for a long time so I should be the one to be taking care of my siblings if he’s not there. He started from zero; now he’s at one I should be at two then my other siblings and children should add on to it,” he added.
“I do a lot of things, like I sell shea butter, I make clothes as well. I can’t just say my father is Kennedy Agyapong so this is the point to relax.”Asaase FM
