Nana Kwaku Appiah Enstooled As The Nkosohene Of Kwahu Aduamoa

Recognizing his sterling leadership qualities and organisational skills, the leader of the Spiritual Awareness Movement, Nana Kwaku Appiah has been enstooled as the Nkosoɔhene of Kwahu Aduamoa.
The simple but colourful event was held at the Aduamoa Chiefs Palace on Saturday, 23rd June, 2024 showcasing the rich traditional heritage of Kwahu Aduamoa.
Maharaja ACHARYA as he is popularly called was taken through the traditional rites and took the oath of office before Nana Ahia-Tutu Brempong, Aduamoa Hene and Kwahuman Benkum Hene, other sub-chiefs and people of Kwahu Aduamoa, swearing to abide by the tenets of the customs and traditions of the people and to the right at all times.
He was later carried shoulder high and paraded through the principal streets of the Aduamoa town receiving cheers from onlookers thereby advertising his presence as their new Development Chief.
Speaking to journalists after the ceremony, he expressed his profound appreciation to the Chiefs and elders for the honour that promised to take the people's developmental needs a notch higher.
"It would be an honour to contribute my quota towards the development of my people", ACHARYA underscored.
Nana Ahia-Tutu Brempong, Aduamoa Hene and Kwahuman Benkum Hene shared the vetting committee having monitored him for some time realised that he possessed good developmental qualities, hence the confidence reposed in him.
The Nkosoɔhene is a title created to honour someone who does not belong royal family but has some qualities that can inure to the community's benefit. The office doesn't necessarily have to be given to a rich person but normally to some possesses organisational abilities, is selfless, has a vision for the community, has the community's welfare at heart, and above possesses the know-how about community development.
