Carlos Ahenkorah Gives Tricycle To Central Regional 'Best Pig Farmer' | General News

The Member of Parliament(MP) for Tema West constituency, Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah has donated a tricycle to Dr. Benjamin Otchere-Ankrah, a Governance Lecturer at Central University, for being awarded the "Best Pig Farmer" in the Central Region of Ghana.

The lecturer cum farmer was recognized on Farmer's Day on Friday, December 2, 2022.

He is into livestock and crop farming.

The organizers of the Farmer's Day in the Central Region rewarded Dr. Otchere-Ankrah with a wheelbarrow, cutlass, knapsack sprayer among other items for his hard work.

However, the best pig farmer wished for one additional thing to help him continue his tremendous work in the agriculture sector.

He announced on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show on Thursday, December 8, that having a tricycle will help him in conveying food to his animals.

To make Dr. Otchere-Ankrah's wish become a reality, the Tema West MP texted the host of 'Kokrokoo', Kwami Sefa Kayi during the show, directing the best farmer to grab a tricycle fully paid for by him.

"Please ask him to pick up one . . . tell him it is fully paid for. God bless him as he supports Ghanaians with his agriculture," the text read.

In response, Dr. Otchere-Ankrah thanked the Parliamentarian for his kind gesture saying "God bless him too. May what he has done be multiplied!".
