Nana Akomea has asked Ghanaian electorates who may want to vote for Ex-President John Dramani Mahama in December 7 presidential elections to rethink their decision.
The Managing Director of the InterCity State Transport Corporation (STC) cautioned Ghanaians against the possibility of going back for John Mahama, alluding to his underperformance while in government.
Nana Akomea reminded Ghanaians of what he termed as the "bad track record" of Mr. Mahama stating how he messed up the economy which resulted in his defeat in both the 2016 and 2020 elections.
This year's election is seen as unprecedented as it is the first time a sitting Vice President and a former President will be contesting for the Presidency.
Also, both candidates hail from the northern sector which makes the election even more historic with some titling it the "Clash of the Northerners".
But to Nana Akomea, the only alternative for Ghana is Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia stressing Ghanaians have witnessed Mr. Mahama's bad regime but Dr. Bawumia has proven beyond doubt through his works that he is best person to push Ghana forward.
"If we are looking for an alternative, can it be Mahama? I don't agree because his record is also bad, when it comes to the economy, corruption, employment and so forth...The only alternative is Bawumia", the STC boss said on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" show.
