Clemento Suarez Cautions Artistes Over Smoking

Renowned comedian, Clemento Suarez, has appealed to Ghanaian artistes to prioritise their health by quitting smoking.
In a statement on Monday, Suarez expressed concern over the growing trend of smoking within the entertainment industry, emphasizing the negative impact it has on both personal health and professional longevity.
“I wish above all things that the Ghanaian talents stopped smoking,” he wrote in a Facebook post.
The post attracted a lot of comments with some individuals expressing shock at the rate at which smoking has become rampant among Ghanaian artistes lately, especially before their performances.
Clemento’s statement is in line with earlier statements that smoking is not just about the immediate health risks, but the long-term consequences that can affect an artiste’s ability to perform and connect with their audiences.
