Lawyer Manuel Sawyerr Refurbishes La Bawaleshie Presby Basic 1 School

Lawyer Manuel Harry Sawyerr, an astute private legal practitioner has come to the aid of students of the La Bawaleshie Presby Basic 1 School, a community school in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Municipality.

The renovation saw the execution of some civil works like the tiling of the floor, changing of doors and ventilation ation also saw the provision of a wide range of books.

The facility to provide a good learning environment also received new lighting systems, curtains and new fans among other things.

Speaking at the handing-over ceremony, Lawyer Manuel Sawyerr used the chance to reiterate his belief in education as a pillar for growth and social inclusion and most especially a development tool for his community.

This gesture is one of many other philanthropic gestures the Lawyer has embarked on which has won the admiration of all.

Lawyer Manuel Sawyerr is a Harvard Graduate and an alumni of the Premier University, University of Ghana.

He currently serves as a Member of the National Petroleum Authority Board where he brings to bear his vast information in Energy, Natural Resources and Corporate Law.

The school authorities expressed their profound gratitude to Lawyer Sawyerr for the gesture and appealed to the general public for more support.

He was in the organization of some well-wishers and friends who appreciated the extent of work done for such a deprived school in the municipality.
