Akosua Manu Commits To Support Flooded Communities As She Leads NADMO To Recover Body Of Flood Victim

On Sunday, May 26, 2024, the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) rescue team recovered the dead body of a man who tragically fell victim to the recent torrential rains and subsequent flooding in the Nanakrom area.
The victim, whose name was withheld, was swept away by the potent floodwaters and found deceased in a nearby waterway.
The Adentan Municipal NADMO rescue team, in collaboration with and with the support of the NPP parliamentary candidate, Akosua Manu aka Kozie worked tirelessly to locate and retrieve the body. The team worked around the clock to ensure the recovery of the deceased.
The body was later handed over to the family and religious leaders for burial, in accordance with Islamic customs and traditions as the deceased man was a Muslim.
The community came together to pay their respects and offer condolences to the grieving family.
The PC, Kozie has expressed her condolences to the bereaved family and urges all to be extra careful during this rainy season.
Akosua Manu as part of her commitments has assured community stakeholders that she would work around the clock to provide relief to victims in flooded areas.
