Philippines: Student 'Anti-Cheating' Exam Hats Go Viral | General News

Images of scholars carrying so-called "anti-cheating hats" throughout school exams have gone viral on social media within the Philippines, sparking amusement.

Students at one school in Legazpi City had been requested to put on headgear that might stop them from peeking at others' papers.

Many responded by creating selfmade contraptions out of cardboard, egg containers and different recycled supplies.

Their tutor advised the BBC she had been in search of a "fun way" to make sure "integrity and honesty" in her lessons.

Mary Joy Mandane-Ortiz, a professor of mechanical engineering at Bicol University College of Engineering, stated the concept had been "really effective".

It was carried out for current mid-term exams, which had been sat by lots of of scholars on the school within the third week of October.
