Ghanaian screen diva Jackie Appiah has visited her hometown Ejisu, Abankuro in the Ashanti region for the first time to celebrate her 39th birthday.
Like she always does every year on her birthday for the past 15 years, Jackie decided to take her birthday donation home this year.
As her little contribution to her hometown, the “Red Carpet” actress has constructed a 10-unit public toilet (water closet) and borehole for the people of Abankuro.
The award-winning actress, who hails from the town, handed over a modern toilet facility and double borehole as part of activities marking her birthday on Monday, December 5, 2022.
Jackie also donated numerous items including student mattresses, school bags, food, and toiletries, shoes, several packs of water and drinks, clothes among other items and undisclosed amount of money to to the people.
